Absolutely amazing accommodation! The bed was so comfortable and the room was incredibly clean. The security was top-notch, and the outdoor dining space was perfect for enjoying meals. We even used the upstairs balcony for yoga sessions, what a great space! Satish, the owner, was incredibly attentive and cooked us the most delicious home-cooked meals at very affordable prices. The property's location next to the national park provided the most tranquil nature sounds and stunning wildlife views. The host treated us like family, helping with tour tickets, providing transportation on his scooter, and treating us to chai every time we came home. The guided village tour was an unexpected delight, and the food his family served was absolutely amazing. This place truly exceeded all our expectations! The spacious rooms and the proximity to the forest allowed for incredible wildlife sightings, although a cheeky monkey stole my toast once. The location was convenient, within walking distance from the bus station.

The location is cozy with easy access to Green Park Spices, it's merely a 15 minute ride from the place. Amiable people work here. There's views on the jungle: )

The staff at this accommodation are extremely supportive and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic stay. they were like personal travel agents, arranging autorickshaws for me at great prices, whether I wanted to explore the wildlife reserve or the city center. The 25-minute walk to the location didn't bother me at all, thanks to their assistance!

We had a wonderful stay at Periyar Heritage in Thekkady. Satish and Savita, our hosts, were incredibly lovely and helpful. They assisted us in organizing activities and transport for our next location. Despite staying in the budget option, our room was extremely comfortable with a private bathroom, a double bed, and hot water. the property also had a nice outdoor space where we could sit and watch the monkeys. the location was convenient, as we were only a pleasant 10-minute walk from the town center.

The one thing that could have made our stay even better is if there was a lively nightlife scene or some cool clubs nearby. As young party-loving people, we would have loved to have some more options for nighttime fun.

Mind-blowing experience! The caretaker went above and beyond to help us with boating tickets, transportation, and even treated us to a village tour. The host treated us like family, took us to cultural shows, and provided delicious homemade meals. The rooms were spacious, with a veranda overlooking the forest. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, with close encounters with monkeys, birds, and squirrels right from our room. Comfortable beds and hot water available, with the option of a generator for cloudy days. stayed at thekkady before, but periyar heritage exceeded expectations. basic rooms but great location. staff friendly and helpful, organized trips. home cooked meals delicious. with a few improvements, this homestay will be fantastic.
